Patrick Carton, who is employed at the blue stone quarries on the Ligonier Valley railroad, met with a very serious accident Monday while at work on the new bridge which spans the Loyalhanna creek at that place. He was standing on the bridge when suddenly one of the boards tilted, letting hi fall about twelve feet, fracturing two of his ribs.
