Perfection In Railroading
On last Thursday at Idlewild we had an illustration of careful management and foresight on the part of Supt. Geo. Senft in transporting the immense crowds without a single mistake or accident. Eleven train loads of people were gotten aboard their special cars without a mistake or accident at the Idlewild station on schedule time just five minutes apart, taking 55 minutes to send all the trains loaded down with passengers away. This is what we would call perfection in railroad management and much of the success not only of this day but of all Idlewild picnics is due to the efficient management of Supt. Senft and his faithfully looking after details and the careful attention of his assistants.
