Visit To The New Brick Plant
Last Thursday in company with A. Beam, real estate agent, we took the train for the new plant of the fire brick works that are being erected near Bell's station. We met one of the proprietors, Mr. Frank Blank, on the train whom we found to be a very genial gentleman and fully conversant with the business. He showed us all around the premises and explained every detail of the manufacture of fire bricks. The work of putting up the buildings, arranging the machinery and various appliances necessary to carry forward the business is progressing nicely. The fire clay is of a superior quality and with the modern machinery to be used the products of the plant will be of the very best quality. They expect to be able to commence the manufacture of brick about the first of next April. We are glad to welcome this plant in the valley and bespeak for it abundant success. Let everybody encourage other capitalists to come and locate here.
