The rumors about the relations between the Pennsylvania railroad and the Ligonier Valley company will not down. It is still intimated that these relations are somewhat strained, and that the Pennsylvania railroad has been negotiating for the purchase of the short line from the Mellon brothers, and that out of these proceedings came the order to run no Idlewild excursions out of Pittsburg this coming summer. It is also rumored that the Pennsylvania has begun negotiations for the purchase of the Pittsburg, Westmoreland & Somerset road, which was built as a feeder for the Ligonier Valley. Pittsburg Post.
