Western Division Passenger Agent Thomas E. Watt, of the Pennsylvania railroad, announced Friday that arrangements had been made to run excursions to Idlewild park, on the Ligonier Valley railroad, from all points east of Pittsburg and from all points where the necessities of the circumstances will not compel the company to run these excursions through the Union station yards at Pittsburg. This will permit them to run excursions from East Liberty, Homestead, Oliver, East Pittsburg, Greensburg, Latrobe, Johnstown and all points between East Liberty and Harrisburg. In accordance with this agreement the Ligonier valley resort should be able to secure a large amount of business for next season.
