Messrs. Laughery and Wilt, carpenters of the L.V.R.R. Co. were busy last week making some improvements, putting in new sills in the engine house and also constructed two new hopper cars for shipping coal in for the use of the above railroad company.

Supt. Geo. Senft of the Ligonier Valley railroad spent last Friday at Idlewild inspecting the many improvements that are now being made on the Idlewild picnic grounds. Work on the new lake at Idlewild is progressing and in a few days will be completed and will be one of the most beautiful lakes of any summer picnic resort in this state.
