The deceased was married to Miss Mary C. Caldwell, of Columbia, Pa., a sister of ex-Senator Caldwell, of Leavenworth, Kan. She and their three children survive him. The children are Thomas A. Mellon, Jr., and Edward P. Mellon, and Miss Mary C. Mellon. His father and mother both survive him, and his three brothers, viz: James R. Mellon, Andrew W. Mellon and Richard B. Mellon. whom is the deceased, are of the banking firm of Thomas Mellon & Sons. The deceased was one of the owners of the Ligonier Valley Railroad.
