Was a Successful Opening
Latest estimates place the total number of people who were at Idlewild park on Decoration day at 6,500. The excursionists enjoyed their outing very much, and had many words of praise for the beautiful place. The new lake and Naptha (sic) launch were surrounded by anxious crowds at all times, and Superintendent Senft thinks one or two more boats may be needed.
