There is a good opportunity for those who have the timber to make ties as they can find sale for all that may be made. The Ligonier Valley R.R. is in the market for ties
delivered at any point on their line. We understand that owing to the heavy traffic during the summer and the heavy engine and trains passing over the road requires a good track. In order to be ready for this traffic by spring they will keep a good force at work all winter putting in ties and making the road bed solid. The company expect to put in iron girder bridges to take the place of the wooden ones.
