Brick Works Organized
The brick plant for the purpose of manufacturing fire-bricks which has been established near Bell's station under the direction of Messrs. Welsh and Blank, has been re-organized recently and a stock company established with a capital of $30,000, consisting of stockholders from Ligonier and Greensburg; also a charter has been applied for. The company is ready to commence the manufactury of bricks as soon as the weather will permit. The fire clay on the company's land is of an excellent quality and almost inexhaustible in quantity. A number of large orders have already been received and the works when once started will be pushed with vigor and will give employment to a number of hands.
