Another Large Excursion
Yesterday about 1,100 pupils of the Allen schools, on the Southside, and their friends, picnicked at Idlewild, the Pennsylvanias resort on the Ligonier Valley road. The new Idlewild is proving very popular, and not the least of the multitudinous duties of Colonel T. E. Watt, district passenger agent of the Pennsylvania, is the arranging of dates for the resort. All are now taken until the middle of August, and the Pennsylvanias revenues will be largely increased by the seasons business.
