Hon. Wm. Flynn has erected a new school house at the stone quarry on the L.V.R.R. and supplied it with the best of modern furniture and cleared off and leveled a play-ground for the children. The school has been named McCance in honor of Alex. McCance, the efficient superintendent of the works of Booth & Flynn. E. A. McColly, of Ligonier, is teaching a day and night school at present.
