Quarrymen Knocked Out
The Recent Paving Decision Causes Contractors to Shut Down Work

Latrobe, Jan. 22. - Messrs. Booth & Flinn, who had large contracts for paving in the city of Pittsburg seem to have been somewhat knocked out by the recent decision in regard to the paving laws of that city.
They own and operate quarries on the Ligonier Valley Railroad, and at Blairsville Intersection and Packsaddle. Owing to the cessation of work they have shut down their quarries in this vicinity, thus throwing out of employment several hundred men. Superintendent McCance hopes to resume operations about April 1.
